A 17-year-old boy is facing terroristic threatening charge after he allegedly assaulted a security guard at a Kaimuki area high school Tuesday night.

Police said the 67-year-old security guard tried to break up a fight on campus at 7:20 p.m. when the suspect allegedly threatened him. The suspect’s friends had to restrain him. When the guard called police, the suspect fled, but was later apprehended.

He was arrested on suspicion of first-degree terroristic threatening.

No need for violence. Clearly a chemical or hormonal imbalance that should be treated with medication. The parents should have recognized this.

He wanted to act tough because he was with friends. Threatened a 67-year-old. Gee, bad boy. When the security guard called police, this "tough" guy split, but was caught. Mommy and daddy bail you out?
