Police ask for help finding missing Kona teen

Hawaii County police are searching for a 17-year-old Kona girl who was reported missing since Tuesday.

Aisha Freitas was last seen at Konawaena High School on Tuesday. She is described as 5-foot-3 to 5-foot-5, 110 pounds with brown eyes, black wavy hair and a fair complexion. She may be in the Kona area, police said.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311 or officer Clive Okino at (808) 326-4646, ext. 276.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at (808) 961-8300 in Hilo or (808) 329-8181 in Kona.
