Crash into utility pole seriously injures man in Kualoa

Paramedics late Sunday night took a 37-year-old man to the hospital in serious condition after the vehicle he was driving struck a utility pole in Kualoa.

The accident took place around 10:30 p.m. in front of Kualoa Ranch on Kamehameha Highway, according to Emergency Medical Services.
