Hawaii County police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man wanted in connection with numerous theft and credit card fraud investigations.

Police said the suspect on March 24 used a stolen credit card at several retail establishments in the Hilo and Puna districts. He is described as a local Caucasian-Portuguese mix about 5 foot 9 inches tall, 165 pounds with a skinny build and a fair complexion.

Police ask that anyone with information on his identity or location call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at (808) 961-8300 in Hilo or (808) 329-8181 in Kona and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000. Crime Stoppers doesn’t record calls or subscribe to caller ID. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
