A 36-year-old Windward Oahu mother turned her teenaged son in to police after he allegedly threatened to kill her during a fight last week.

Police said the argument occurred Friday just before midnight and turned ugly when the 17-year-old boy threatened to kill his mother with a weapon while they fought.

The son was arrested Tuesday morning on suspicion of first-degree terroristic threatening and abuse of a family member.

Family should try to work things out with a counselor or church member, this is the only family we got, we should never hurt each other but when things get rough we gotta stick together. Wishing them the best.
