An argument ended with a 20-year-old Ewa Beach man allegedly smashing the windshield of a car and facing a possible jail sentence.

Police said the 29-year-old Ewa Beach man was arguing with a 19-year-old man just after 2 p.m. Monday afternoon. When the 19-year-old victim tried to drive away, the suspect struck and smashed the windshield of the victim’s car, police said.

The suspect was arrested on suspicion of first-degree property damage at his Parish Drive home an hour later.

Sometimes I wonder who or WHAT writes these articles. Don't they proof read, spell check or have any pride in their work?

I am guessing at the time of the argument (2:00 pm), he was 19 years old. When the suspect smashed the windshield at 2:01pm or later, he turned 20 base on his birth certificate. I'm giving the Star Advertiser Staff the benefit of the doubt of course.

You're even worse than whoever wrote this article. Maybe you should work for the SA, you'd fit right in. If you read the article again you'll see the question is whether the suspect is 29 or 20 years old, not whether he was 20 or 19. I'm NOT giving you the benefit of the doubt.
