Hope u will be okay. Just pay attention to detail and one will not get into accidents. Please be patient, because what is saving a few minutes going to do, if u nearly get into a fatal accident. I once asked a motorcycle operator how he could tell the difference between a moped and a motorcycle. He said first he looks for the license plate. A motorcycle has a license plate, a moped does not. Secondly it seems easier to catch TheBus. Mopeds cannot compete with cars. My brother on his moped nearly died in 1977 when he ran head first into a car because he was not playing attention.

"Secondly, it seems easier to catch TheBus". Seems easier to jump on your moped parked in your driveway and zip away in a few seconds.

Why risk getting killed on a moped, and the driver will not go to jail.

mike, doesn't matter if the driver won't go to jail if he kills a moped rider. Some go jail, some don't. Why risk getting killed on a moped? For economical transportation, especially for ppl w/no license. Also for ppl who can't afford the cost of owning a car/truck.
