Japanese tourist arrested after domestic dispute

A Japanese tourist was arrested after she allegedly threatened a relative during an argument in their Waikiki hotel room.

Police said the two women were vacationing here when the 36-year-old suspect got into an argument with a 38-year relative at 5:30 p.m. None of the two women were injured.

The 36-year-old suspect from Shizuoka, Japan, was arrested on suspicion of first-degree terroristic threatening.
