Sophomore left-hander Scott Squier did not travel with the Hawaii baseball team that departed Honolulu for a seven-game road trip today.

Squier was not listed on the team's travel roster and Hawaii coach Mike Trapasso did not comment on Squier's status when reached over the phone this afternoon.

Trapasso was in Seattle on a recruiting trip.

The Rainbows (9-29, 4-11 Big West) are traveling only 24 out of a maximum 27 players on their trip that starts Friday at Pacific (10-29, 3-12).

Squier was scheduled to start last Friday's opener against Cal State Fullerton before a change was made on Thursday. Senior Connor Little started in his place and Squier piched six innings in relief on Saturday, allowing two runs with no walks and five strikeouts.

Squier has made eight starts in 11 appearances and is 0-6 with a 3.44 ERA.
