What's up with kids nowadays? This is another teenager attacking someone with authority. No respect for adults and authority. And like I said in that other post, last week there was a report that juvenile arrests were down. Now, with recent incidents, going back up. Do away with "child abuse" and bring back the "belt." Kids can hide behind "child abuse" accusations. That's why kids keep on getting into trouble.

You Politically Correct people are so full of it. Tell me how do you "allegedly attacking a deputy sheriff"? There is no question he did it as he was arrested by the guy he attacked.

The key here is whether there were witness(es). You say there is “no question he did it” but how do you know? I would tend to believe the deputy sheriff, but there is no way of knowing for sure, unless a neutral party, also known as a witness, was present.

Special duty assignment at an Ewa Beach restaurant? How's about a little bit more detailed related to that? What's a sheriff doing on special duty at a restaurant? What restaurant? What was going on there? History of trouble? How's about some "news" in a report?

MacDonald's! Just like HPD off duty officers, the Sheriffs can also work special duty. They are not paid with taxpayers money but by the people/business that hire them. Last time I checked HPD officers get paid $32 an hour.

They'll only be on the straight and narrow while in boot camp. Once that's over, they'll go right back to what they were doing before UNLESS they are properly guided by RESPONSIBLE adults who can teach them respect. I know a kid who just finished boot camp, the family is trying to get him back on the right track. After talking to him he was asked in private, so after all that was said, you still gonna do drugs? His answer: IF ITS THERE, YEAH. What the crap!?
