A 25-year-old man and his female juvenile accomplice are in custody after police say the male suspect allegedly burglarized a Kaimuki home and threatened the homeowner Sunday afternoon.

Police said the suspect entered the home and allegedly threatened a 40-year-old man at 12:10 p.m.

When the suspect was arrested an hour later, he was found with a juvenile woman who had items that were stolen from the house.

The pair were arrested on suspicion first-degree burglary, first-degree terroristic threatening, second-degree theft and car theft.

If the perp entered the house and confronted the occupant, the charge should be robbery. If you're misreporting this you again demonstrate why this publication is a sorry joke; If your reporting is accurate, then HPD or the prosecutor are incompetent and need to be sent back to school.

This thug will probably get a short amount of time in prison as he "behaves" himself in prison and gets paroled after maybe five years. He may even get less than that. He probably has a long rap sheet and a product a revolving door justice system that does not see property crimes as serious enough to warrant a long lock-up. We need to lock thugs like this for a longer time to prevent them from victimizing another innocent person.
