A 16-year-old boy was arrested Monday and is believed to be one of two assailants who allegedly attacked a 58-year-old man in a Kalihi park in January, beat him and stole his truck.

Police said the two suspects allegedly hit the man with a tree branch several times and also punched and kicked him during the Jan. 25 incident. The assailants then stole his truck.

The 16-year-old suspect was arrested on suspicion of first-degree robbery. The other suspect is still at large.

Arrested for just robbery? What about assault? Maybe the prosecutors are afraid they would have to arrange another plea deal. Same ole' story.
