A 28-year-old Kalihi man is facing multiple charges, including assault, after he allegedly threatened three men with a gun and slapped one of them.

Police said the suspect approached the men, — ages 19, 17 and 18 — at 7 p.m. Monday and threatened to kill them with a gun. The suspect also slapped the 18-year-old man on the face. When a 25-year-old man intervened, the suspect fled. The 18-year-old man refused medical treatment.

The suspect was arrested on suspicion of four counts of first-degree terroristic threatening, second-degree assault, and third-degree assault.
