Aaron Judge went 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs and Trent Garrison added a two-run homer for Fresno State in an 8-6 win over Hawaii on Tuesday in a nonconference game at Beiden Field in Fresno, Calif.

Freshman Kevin Viers added three doubles and two RBIs for the Bulldogs (17-29), who beat Hawaii (11-31) in the first game between the two teams since they both left the Western Athletic Conference.

The two teams had played 27 games in the previous five seasons, including eight meetings in the Western Athletic Conference tournament.

Trevor Podratz went 3-for-4 with a double and four RBIs to lead UH, which had 10 hits.

Hawaii used four different pitchers in the game with senior Patrick O'Rourke (0-2) taking the loss. O'Rourke allowed two runs on four hits in two innings.

Marc Flores went 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored and Kalei Hanawahine was 2-for-2 with two runs scored as UH dropped to 2-2 on its current seven-game road trip.

The Rainbows end their trip with a three-game series at Long Beach State beginning Friday.

Frontman, did you even watch the game or are you just going on your imagination, we had none of our starting pitchers pitch since this was an non Conference game. Our pitchers we were using haven`t pitched and a couple there ERA was above 10. So when you say whipped your talking out of your #%$ again. Yes I do agree that the coaches needs to be replaced which doesn`t look like its going to happen. And winning 5 out of the next 9 is very possible. I think they`ll win 6 maybe even 7 of the last games. There hitting and pitching are improving as games go by, better late then never.
