A 58-year-old Waikiki man is in custody after he allegedly took a $1,200 purse from the DFS Galleria shopping center Monday night.

Police said a security guard saw the suspect take the purse, apprehended him outside the shopping center and held him until police arrived. Police said the suspect was arrested at the same shopping center for trespassing in September 2012.

The suspect was arrested on suspicion of second-degree burglary.

Gregory VI became the anti-pope that year. Maybe the purse was a gift. Or maybe to commemorate when King Máel Coluim mac Cináeda of Alba reputedly defeated a Danish army at Cruden Bay in Buchan.

I didn't know DFS Galleria was around that long. I wonder what kind of trinkets they used to sell back then.

Duty-free items must be key for this thief. He preferences are strange. Wonder if the security system is a lot worse at the DFS than other high-end stores?
