1 man arrested, another in serious condition after Liliha stabbing

A 21-year-old Liliha man is in custody following an early morning stabbing incident in Mayor Wright public housing.

Police said a witness saw the 21-year-old suspect fighting with an 18-year-old man at 1:29 a.m. The witness said the suspect stabbed the victim and fled. However, the suspect was identified by the witness and arrested near his Liliha Street home at 2:15 a.m.

The victim was taken to the hospital in serious condition with multiple stab wounds.

The suspect was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
