Board of Water Supply crews have restored service to seven customers in Pearl City after an early morning water main break left them dry and closed a section of Noelani Street.
Repair crews are continue to work a break to a 1 1/2-inch water main at 1164 Noelani Street, officials said. Repair crews initially thought the damaged main was an 8-inch pipe, but later discovered it was the smaller service lateral. One customer remains without service.
The eastbound lane of Noelani Steet between Hoolaulea Street and Noelani Place has been closed off.
Work is expected to continue throughout the day, officials said. A water wagon was dispatched to the break site for customers without water.
