Man arrested in Chinatown for allegedly punching police officer

A 44-year-old man was arrested just after midnight Wednesday in Chinatown after he allegedly punched a police officer.

Police said the officer was issuing the suspect a citation when the suspect hit the officer and ran from the scene.

The suspect was caught and arrested for harassing a police officer. The officer suffered only minor injuries.
