A teen realization that incarcertion is not enjoyable. Freedom has it price, good citizenshp. Respect for the law goes a long way in earning the right of freedom. Lessons hard to come by. So young, starting life with a yoke on one's neck.

Since he has a history of escape it maybe time to consider housing him at the adult facilites such as OCCC......

Agreed. Perhaps only then he'll realize how good he had it in Kailua, and how much better he had it as a law-abiding citizen.

Maybe his problems began with his parents. Not enough love or none at all, poorly educated parents and maybe just plan poor. So many reasons why the youth end up so confused. I pray he finds his way through this confussing life and that the correction department would find a way to help him!
