A 43-year-old Ewa Beach man is in custody after he allegedly held his girlfriend in his home for two days after an argument.

Police said the couple were fighting in his Iroquois Point home on Monday when he allegedly assaulted the 37-year-old victim and prevented her from leaving. The woman escaped on Wednesday and called police.

The suspect was arrested at a Waipahu medical clinic on suspicion of kidnapping, abuse and a weapons charge.

It's not Hawaii, the West side, it's S O C I E T Y. We have woman bashed, we have man bashed and we have children bashed. We allow hateful things to be said and done to innocent people.
