Teen escapee from youth correctional facility caught

An 18-year-old Wahiawa man is back at the Hawaii Youth Correctional Facility in Kailua after having been on the loose for nearly a week.

The suspect escaped Saturday and was recaptured Thursday afternoon at his Wahiawa home.

He now faces an escape charge.
