The Medical Examiner’s Office Friday officially classified the death of a 56-year-old real estate agent and actress as a homicide.
The medical examiner said Mary Beth San Juan died of “multiple stab wounds.” Her body was found wrapped in carpet at 7:21 p.m. Tuesday in the driveway of her home and office at 1224 Punahou St.
Police have released surveillance video of a man withdrawing money from a Manoa Marketplace First Hawaiian Bank using San Juan’s ATM card at 12:30 a.m. Monday. Her silver 2013 Mercedes C250 sedan was found Tuesday night near Kapiolani Park bandstand.
Detectives believe the person who killed San Juan knew her and that robbery was the motive, but they have no suspects.
