Haleiwa man arrested in domestic dispute with siblings

A 24-year-old Haleiwa man is in custody after he allegedly tried to choke his sister and threatened his brother with a knife during an argument.

Police said the incident began as argument at 1:35 p.m. At one point the suspect allegedly tried to choke his 23-year-old sister and threatened his 18-year-old brother with a knife. Only minor injuries were reported.

The suspect was arrested on suspicion of abuse and first-degree terroristic threatening.
