Man arrested for allegedly breaking into Waikiki home, assaulting woman

A 26-year-old homeless man was arrested after he allegedly kicked out the window of a Waikiki home Friday morning and allegedly assaulted the homeowner.

Police said the incident occurred at 1:17 a.m. near Kalaimoku Street and allegedly attacked a 29-year-old woman in her living room.

The suspect is facing a charge of first-degree burglary.
