Makiki woman allegedly tries to rob store, escape arrest

A 35-year-old Makiki woman is in police custody after she allegedly tried to rob a South Beretania Street store Thursday afternoon.

Police said the suspect tried to use force to escape when she was caught just after 4:30 p.m. The woman is facing second-degree robbery charge.
