Best you carry pepper spray allie. I do and I also carry a folding knife in case things get hairy. I wish I could carry a gun too, but the liberals here won't let me.

Actually I don't consider myself a liberal or a conservative, I'm usually somewhere in the middle. Extreme conservatives are just as bad as extreme liberals. That said I do think Hawaii's gun laws are too strict. At least let responsible citizens carry concealed. There's even a limit to the size of pepper spray canister you can carry, which most other states don't have.

Another great story by the SA staff. What a bunch of loser reporters. They should be ashamed to print this stuff.

The SA isn't ashamed of anything. After all this is the same paper that gives us weather updates 10 times a day.

Don't you know, the SA has to prove to the readers that they've got things covered. Nothing escapes their reporters. Their next story will be about how a piece of the Japan tsunami derbis washed ashore. After all, we need to know.

A harbinger of things to continue in the Kakaako and Ala Moana, Kapiolani area, with lots of new condos, tons of people in a small area. Businesses should be shut down by 10:30 pm so the bad crowd goes elsewhere so crime and violence is abated.

This is how it should be. If you going beef, then beef. No knives no guns, just duke it out. However, don't go assaulting the police.

Agree that a fight should be just fists, no knives, guns or other weapons. Most fights nowadays involve mostly stabbings. This fist fight would be minor, but, when you assault police officers, that changes it a bit.
