I'd say 20% of the vehicles out here are either stolen, have no valid insurance, no safety, or the driver no license.

Blows my mind that there would be thefts in Hawaii. The islands are small and thefts of this nature should be easily solved. On the mainland it is different picture, as there are organizations specialized to ship or drive stolen autos south of the border, to Hong Kong an other foreign ports in shipping containers, with hardly any traces. Also, "chop-shop" that can dismantle a car within hours.

Allie - at some point someone is going to sue you as a Doe defendant for defamation and intentional/negligent infliction of emotional distress and subpoena the SA to obtain your true identity, then everyone will know who you truly are. Until then, we wait.

I would bet that these miscreants probably were arrested previously and sentenced and then did their short time and then back at it again. This revolving door system has to stop. They need to be kept behind bars longer and when they do go to prison they should be forded to do hard labor that will repay the community such as work lines that include and not limited to cleaning parks and roadways.

These guys don't care. Even with all the charges against them, our judicial system will let them out to do it all over again. That's how these criminals run up 20, 30, 40 convictions. Just wait for them to be on Crimestoppers.

I'm sure there's somebody out there that can vouch that these are really nice guys that somehow got associated with the wrong crowd. Thusly, they should get off with two days probabtion and a deferred acceptance. Why not? Everyone else is set free.
