Haleiwa man arrested after allegedly punching, choking girlfriend

A 30-year-old Haleiwa man is facing abuse charges after he allegedly struck and choked his girlfriend.

Police said the incident occurred on Aug. 24.

The suspect was arrested Monday in the Punchbowl area on suspicion of abuse after he alleged punched his 28-year-old girlfriend’s face and choked her.
