A 28-year-old man sought in connection for allegedly stealing copper last month ended up facing other charges after illegal drugs were found in his car.

The suspect, who did not have a local address when he was apprehended in Wahiawa Wednesday afternoon near Wilson Reservoir, was being sought in connection with theft of copper fittings from a local investment company on Aug.11.

Besides a charge of third-degree promotion of a detrimental drug, the suspect did not have a valid driver's license. Theft of copper is class C felony which carries a maximum jail term of five years and $10,000 fine.

Actually more than $50,000.00 a year but that much we have to pay that could be used for our NO A/C school's. I say this state needs to get these types of crimes and get a work force together and start some trinket making souvenir for the tourist where these people could work to pay off their crime. Something, not just wasting time in a cage getting high on drugs in there.
