A 29-year-old Lihue man was found dead on the porch of a northern California home earlier this month, a Kauai newspaper reported.

The Garden Island said Marcus Allen Brown died of blunt trauma to the head Sept. 4 in Hayward, Calif., according to police there.

A person from Kauai had filed a missing person's report with the San Jose Police Department, but the case was not registered with Kauai Police Department.

Brown, who is from Virginia, moved to Kauai in 2009, the newspaper said.

That's a nice sentiment, but do people REALLY pray for strangers they read about in the newspaper? And if so, why? There are people dying in Queen's hospital right now, but since they don't have the publicity/notoriety of someone in the papers, we don't pray for them. Not that a stranger's prayer does any good anyway.

Why do the religionists pray for that? The man is going to heaven, isn't he ?

Probably eventually is guess. Some might need to make a stop to answer a few questions for clarification before official entry. LOL

What makes you think he us going to heaven? For all you know, he may be going to hell. Do you think that everyone who dies was a "good" person?
