Wahiawa man allegedly assaults military police officer

A 20-year-old Wahiawa man was arrested Monday night after he allegedly assaulted a military police officer at the Schofield Barracks post exchange.

Army military police responded to a fight at 9:37 p.m. at the base's exchange. The suspect allegedly assaulted the first responding officer. He was subdued by other officers and arrested for suspicion of first-degree assault of a law enforcement officer. The suspect was later released pending further investigation.
