RIP but people please slow down! Few here know how to drive a motorcycle. Too many speeders, reckless drivers, etc.

Yeah, I'm aware of the classes. I was being sarcastic. Despite the State mandating the motorcycle education classes, stuff like this still happens. I'm like Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. When will people learn. Slow the Foxtrot Uniform Charlie Kilo down!

all lie, few here know how to ride. HTF would you know? Are you the motorcycle inspector who tests ALL motorcycle riders? That's the ONLY way you could justify your dummass statement. But you're not.

RIP too. But anyone want to bet he was under 30, in the military, and not riding on a Harley? Well I"d bet on at least the first and last of the above.

I have another perspective - does anyone know how many motorcycle accidents and fatalities have occurred in that same stretch of road? I am wondering why no one is reporting it - but there have been many, maybe a dozen by now, in the short time H-3 has been open. Not only is that section where the highway crosses an ancient Hawaiian heiau, but maybe there is a design flaw? Sometimes, when you have repeated accidents in the same place, you have to consider whether it was designed adequately to address safety.
