A 27-year-old Waipahu man was charged Tuesday with allegedly sexually assaulting a girl over an 11-year period starting when the victim was 6 years old, police said.
Jaylord Parras was arrested at his home Monday morning on suspicion of four counts of first-degree sexual assault and one count of third-degree ssex assault.
Police would only say that the victim, who is now 19, knows the suspect.
The alleged attacks began in 2000 when the suspect was 14 years old and continued until 2011, police said.
