Police ask public's help to ID body of man found in Kaanapali

Maui police are asking the public's help in identifying the man whose lifeless body was found with apparent injuries Monday on the pavement inside the Marriott Maui Ocean Club in Kaanapali.

Police were called to the resort at 6:40 a.m. Monday.

The victim, 53, possibly is an out-of-state resident, police said.

Anyone who can identify the man from his photo is asked to call Maui police dispatch at (808) 244-2600 or Lahaina Criminal Investigation Division at (808) 661-0559 weekdays 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
