Motorcyclist seriously hurt on Kaneohe Bay exit off H-3

Paramedics treated and took a 23-year-old motorcyclist to the hospital in serious condition this morning following a one-vehicle accident on the Kaneohe Bay exit of the H-3 freeway.

Emergency Medical Services said the man was injured at 6:06 a.m. No other details were immediately available.

Between that exit and the Mokapu turnoff is a well known biker racing strip - 2-3 pm Sundays and often late at night. Not usually at 6 am though. Absolutely NO enforcement of the law, which is common now on all roads - run a red light, ok-talk on call phone, ok. Just don't get caught without your seat belt!
