Two men worked together Monday morning to purchase items at a Kalihi retail store with stolen credit cards, police said.

Police arrested the men, ages 59 and 36, on suspicion of fraudulent use of a credit card about two hours after the incident around 1 p.m., according to police records.

The cards belonged to a 76-year-old man and a 57-year-old man, police said.

Also on Monday, a 33-year-old man allegedly tried to use a forged check at a Waianae financial institution around 12:45 p.m., according to police records. Police arrested the man on suspicion of second-degree forgery about an hour later.
