Of all the questions you could have of this tragic accident, you're wondering about ethnicity? Why?

Actually, there is no need for questions at all. Is what is needed is a prayer for the deceased as well as the family. God bless her and keep her family safe.

This is very sad. Her father will never forgive himself for this tragedy. My heart goes out to him and his ohana. I have never forgotten, many years back, a somewhat similar situation where I was walking my seven year old daughter on a neighborhood sidewalk while holding her hand. As we passed one house with a sturdy chain link fence a fierce ugly open mouth dog came running as if to attack us. He slammed into the fence with force and anger. I sensed the fence would hold and we would continue our walk. I remember my daughter using her other hand to brake her holding my hand and running while screaming between two parked cars out into the middle of the street without looking for oncoming traffic. My heart died as I witnessed her actions. I questioned myself why I let her hand go. As I quickly removed her from the street I thanked God that usual car/truck and Bus traffic was not present at the time of her sprint into the narrow street. What could I have done to prevent her sprint is a question I entertain from time to time. Today my absolutely beautiful daughter is absolutely wonderful.
