Brush fire burns 5 acres near West Loch

A brush fire burned about five acres below Waipahu High School near West Loch Wednesday afternoon.
Honolulu and federal firefighters fought the blaze, which was in a remote area of brush that required water to be shuttled in, said Honolulu Fire Department spokesman Capt. Terry Seelig.
