State Civil Defense officials are testing 13 warning sirens on Oahu today and tomorrow.
Residents might hear a steady siren tone and should not be alarmed.
Sirens will be tested today starting at about 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. from Makaha to Honouliuli, and at about 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. from Sandy Beach to Maunalua Bay. Tomorrow, sirens will be tested from Aikahi to Waiahole beginning at about 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. , and at Turtle Bay from about 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Residents may call state Civil Defense at 733-4300 with questions or concerns.
