Disorderly man is arrested for allegedly assaulting police officer

A man was arrested Tuesday morning after causing a ruckus in a Nimitz area restaurant and assaulting a police officer.

The man, 49, was asked to leave the restaurant at about 6:30 a.m. but he refused. 

Following a brief struggle, the suspect was arrested. The officer, 33, sustained minor injuries. He refused medical treatment.
