Despite the National Football Conference jumping out to a 42-0 second quarter lead, yesterday's NFL all-star game was the most-watched Pro Bowl since 1997, the Fox network announced.
The game drew 13.4 million viewers, just below 13.5 million for the 1997 game, Fox said.
Fox said ratings were up 8 percent over the 2010 game held in Miami and viewership was up 9 percent.
The game is scheduled to return to Honolulu in 2012, the final year of the current contract.
