Honolulu Fire Department personnel rescued an injured hiker who had fallen 30 feet off the Manoa Falls Trail today afternoon.

The hiker, identified as a woman in her 50s, apparently slid off the trail, injuring her shoulder and arm, and was unable to climb back up, according to HFD spokesperson Capt. Terry Seelig.

Rescue personnel assisted the woman into a basket and airlifted her to Manoa District Park, where she was transferred to the care of Emergency Medical Services.
