Hilton Hawaiian guests say strike hurting service

Some guests at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Resort and Spa in Waikiki are complaining about their stay at the resort while workers strike.
KITV-TV reports that some guests say they have to clean their own rooms, that restaurants are closed and about the noise from protesting strikers.
Some Hilton guests also told the station that striking hotel workers have been waking them up early in the morning with chants and bullhorns.
But Hilton Hawaii vice president Jerry Gibson says the hotel is still providing what he called "great housekeeping services." He said the hotel is able to maintain its operations with managers and about 300 temporary non-union staff filling in.
With 3,600 rooms, the Hilton Hawaiian Village is by far the largest resort in Hawaii.
