Pearl Harbor's Halawa gate reopened

The Halawa gate into Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam was closed for about two hours at 11:30 a.m., Honolulu police said.
A Honolulu police spokeswoman said the military was investigating a suspicious truck in the area.
Police said the gate was reopened about 1:30 p.m.
A Pearl Harbor public affairs officer said they are looking into the incident., but gave no further details.
The Defense Department issued a heightened security alert for all U.S. military bases last week because of the Sept. 11 anniversary.
