Kamehamea Highway re-opened

Traffic is flowing again in both directions on Kamehameha Highway near Jameson's Restaurant in Haleiwa after road repairs were completed following a 16-inch water main break yesterday, a Board of Water Supply spokesman said.
Workers restored water to the main at about 6 a.m. and the road re-opened at about 10:45 a.m., spokesman Kurt Tsue said.
Just before 4:30 this afternoon, Tsue said water systems have re-charged and North Shore residents can resume normal water usage.
