Kauai firefighters battle 25-acre brush fire

Firefighters were putting out hotspots of a brush fire that burned 25 acres of state land yesterday afternoon off Kekaha Road near Mile Marker 4.
No one has been injured and no structures were threatened the brush fire, which broke out at 2:14 p.m.
The fire was deemed under control at 3:43 p.m.
The cause of the fire is undetermined.
