Man charged with second-degree theft for stolen painting


Police charged Wednesday a 40-year-old man who allegedly stole a painting from a Kaneohe medical facility Tuesday.

Walter Antone of Waihole was charged with second-degree theft. Bail was set at $11,000.

Police said he walked in and allegedly stole the painting valued at more than $300.
