Motorcycle accident closes Kalanianaole Highway

A section of Kalanianaole Highway is closed in both directions due to a motorcycle accident above Hanauma Bay.
The accident, which occurred around 4:30 p.m., has prompted closure of the highway between the Koko Head Rifle Range and Hanauma Bay.
According to Emergency Medical Services, a 27-year-old man was taken to a nearby trauma center in critical condition. Further details were not available.
