Motorcyclist in critical condition after spill

A motorcyclist was in critical condition following a crash on Aiea Heights Drive near Hoio Street Sunday night.
The man apparently lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into an embankment around 6:20 p.m..
Emergency Medical Services personnel treated and transported the man to an area hospital in critical condition, according to EMS spokesperson Bryan Cheplic.
No other vehicles appeared to have been involved and no one else was injured, Cheplic said.
