No. 3 Hawaii sweeps Fresno State in volleyball

No. 3 Hawaii won its 19th straight volleyball match tonight, sweeping Fresno State 25-20, 25-18, 25-22 in Fresno, Calif.

The Rainbow Wahine (24-1, 13-0 Western Athletic Conference) have won 50 consecutive sets, four off the school record set in 2002.

Kanani Danielson had a match-high 16 kills, Brittany Hewitt added five blocks and Elizabeth Ka'aihue 11 digs.

Hawaii continues its road trip at San Jose State Saturday (11 a.m. Hawaii time).
